The heart is of essential importance for health, so we have prepared a target cardiological preventive check-up, through which you will find out how healthy and strong your heart is. The cardiological check-up is focused on the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and includes the following examinations:

The Cardiological Check-up consists of the following tests and services:

Specialist cardiological examination with a final opinion and an evaluation of the risk factors for the occurrence of cardiovascular disease

Laboratory analyses

Through the mentioned target laboratory analyses we determine the blood count, the concentration of fats in the blood (including the analysis of cholesterol in the blood), the function of the liver and kidneys and measure the blood sugar and thyroid hormones level.

BLOOD ANALYSIS: sample collection, haemogram with a differential blood count, hepatogram – liver condition indicators (AST, ALT, GGT, AF, bilirubin), electrolytes in blood (potassium, sodium, magnesium), kidney condition indicators (urea, creatinine), pancreas tests (amylase, lipase), blood sugar – glucose, lipid profile – blood fats (cholesterols, HDL, LDL, triglycerides), iron. ferritin, transferrin, TIBC, thyroid hormones – TSH, ft4.

URINE ANALYSIS: basic analysis and sediment.

Anthropometrical measurements on the basis of the body mass index

ECG when relaxed

Is the basic examination in cardiology, which evaluates the heart rhythm and the function of the heart muscle.

Spirometry

Is the measurement of lung volume and the evaluation of the lung’s function. The examination enables the distinction between the symptoms of lung and heart disease.

Stress test on a treadmill or bicycle

Presentation of the capacity of the cardiovascular system and the activity of the heart during strain

Ultrasound of the heart

The examination establishes changes to the valves, possible thickening of the heart muscle, the expansion of the atrium etc.

Ultrasound of the cervical arteries

The examination enables the evaluation of the above-mentioned signs of arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries)
