Dr. Nina Kovačević was born in Ljubljana in 1985. She graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana in 2010. She continued with her specialization in gynaecology and obstetrics while simultaneously enrolling in a doctoral program. In 2013, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled The Role of Regulatory T Lymphocytes in Endometriosis.
Shortly thereafter, she became a teaching assistant and later an associate professor at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana. She also lectures at the Faculty of Health Sciences. She continually expands and updates her knowledge, sharing it with the medical community at various symposia and congresses. Her bibliography includes more than 70 publications in both domestic and international literature.
Throughout her education, she has attended numerous national and international congresses, often as a speaker. At the gynaecological outpatient clinic of Diagnostični center Bled, she performs gynaecological examinations and also treats vaginal dryness.
